The U.S. Probation office in the Southern District of Florida follows the Court ordered protocol approved for the U.S. District Court regarding office closures, which is based on the School Districts' notice of closures in each county. In the event of hazardous weather that causes the local public schools within a particular county to close, the Federal Courthouses in that county will also close. Likewise, the probation offices in that county will be closed.
