Pursuant to your probation/parole/supervised release special condition(s), you are required to participate in a program for treatment of drug/alcohol abuse counseling and random urinalysis testing as instructed by the U.S. Probation Office.

In order to notify you a test is scheduled, we utilize a telephone answering service. You will be instructed to report for testing by means of a recorded telephone message. It will be necessary for you to CALL IN DAILY, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, regardless of when you were last tested, since "back-to-back" testing is sometimes required.

The daily call-in hours are from 5:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. If the line is busy when you call, simply hang up and try again. The message will be short. Be sure to call during the indicated times and be sure to listen to the complete message. Each day's message is recorded and a permanent record of all callers is maintained. To avoid using names, each client is assigned a unique number.  After you have entered your PACTS number, the system will tell you if you must report or not. You are to report to the U.S. Probation Office on the date stated on the recording between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m

You must show your Probation Identification card or a picture ID in order to be tested. If the recorded message indicates you are to report, but you fail to do so, you will be in violation of the conditions of your probation/supervised release/parole and applicable sanctions will be imposed. If you find the system is inoperative, you must call the probation office before 10:00 a.m. and ask for the duty officer to determine whether you are to be tested that day.
